GENERAL PROVISIONS
This policy describes how the Opengater mobile application for iOS (the “App”) handles user data. The App is developed by OPENGATER, LLC (“we”, “us”).
WHAT DATA THE APP COLLECTS
The App does not collect user personal data, does not store it on our servers and does not send it to us.
We do not receive:
- your name, email address, phone number or other contact details;
- your browsing history, or the content or volume of your network traffic;
- your location;
- device identifiers or advertising identifiers.
The App has no registration, advertising, analytics or trackers.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The subscriptions and configurations you add, as well as App settings (theme, language, connection options), are stored only on your device. We have no access to them.
CONNECTING TO SERVERS
The App is a client for connecting to servers that you add yourself (via a subscription link, a QR code or manually). We do not provide or operate these servers.
When you connect, your network traffic goes directly to the server you have chosen. When a subscription is updated, the App contacts that subscription’s address. Data on the server and subscription side is processed by their owner — please refer to their privacy policy.
SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell, share or disclose user data to third parties, because we do not collect it.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
All App data is stored on your device. To delete it, remove your subscriptions and configurations in the App or delete the App itself — the data will be deleted with it.
CHILDREN
The App is not designed to collect data from children and does not collect data from users of any age.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. The current version is always available at this address. If the App ever starts collecting any data, we will update this policy in advance and reflect it on the App’s page in the App Store.
